  1. Good people build their lives on the foundation of respect.
    1. As we read the book of Judges we see that the Benjimites lost the respect for life.  By taking the concubine and defiling her to the point of death. Her master the levite made it so gruesome  be dividing her body and sending it to the 12 tribes. They came down to Judge the tribe of Benjamins.
      1. We should respect life itself. Because life is short. As we see Naomi's  family death visited them quickly.
      2. God is the giver of life. He is the Creator  we ar made in the image of God. We have a body soul and spirit. When we get saved we become quicken by his spirit.
      3. Christ served others and those that respect life serve others.
      4. We respect life of all living things As we see this Family goes through a famine food and water becomes of most importance.

  1. the mysteries of life well never understand until we are in heaven.

6. So we have to be people of honesty and integrity in all things.

  1. Four Pillars of respect
  1. Manners we will be known by the way we treat others. so we have to treat people with respect and as partners. treat people with integrity.

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”

Matthew 7:12 KJV

  1. Language

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

Luke 6:45 KJV

“The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.”

Ecclesiastes 10:12 KJV

“And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.”

Ruth 4:14-15 KJV

  1. Honoring the rules

“Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's: And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel. Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi. Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beth–lehem:”

Ruth 4:1-11 KJV

Ruth Being Thankful Is A Habit

"So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David."

Ruth 4:13-17

The freedom of choice The Best decision is Attitude How can you have a good attitude when your world is caving in "Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Beth–lehem–judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons." Ruth 1:1 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; 5And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; 12Turn again, my daughters, go your way; 14And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her. Naomi Attitude 20And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. Ruth's Attitude 16And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Entreat…: or, Be not against me 17Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me. Think for yourself 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Think constructively Philippians 4:8 (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. I Corithians 13

Connection is King

Vs 1 Though I speak withe tongue

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

This is that intimate conversation letting each other know you care about the inner life of your spouse asking each other questions

Face to to face conversation the staring into each others eyes because eye contact is crucial means of conversation

Stop looking at the tv screen phone and start looking at your wife or husband

Eye contact goes a long way this release adrenaline  the dopamine in the brain

Be careful who you open up to this is the gateway drug for affairs.

This can produce fears and anxiety which lead to aggressive and accusatory communication. After the honeymoon was over theses things start to creep up on your marriage.

When the love is not there you are consumed with anger and bitterness.

When does this happen when your spuse is away on a business trip

Going to sleep

Waking up

Going to work

Not getting a response or text for three hours

When one is being flirtatious with someone else

When your spouse is angry at you

Your spouse is depressed or sad

Your spouse is turning down your sexual advances

Your spouse is commenting or staring  anthers attractiveness

Ignoring your plead for connections

Turning down plans to do something together

Going out with friends without you

Having hobbies without you

Develop an maintain trust in your marriage

Don't be judgmental

Each other comes first for information and secret detalis an d protect it from those who try to harm it

Give to your spouse

giving inspires love

Mystic in marriage

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Beauty is skin deep

Bring your highest self so work on yourself

Be a spiritual leader

Challenge your self to love your spouse more

Created to need a help meet

Two Are Better Than One

It is good that man should not be alone

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

When God created Adam he gave him a task to name every living creature. God wanted man to be busy for him. If things were to be accomplish Adam had to focus on the task at hand.  After naming all the creatures God saw the need for Adam for a help meet.

No one should be alone.

Eve was to help meet Adams needs

Man has needs

When a young man grows up. He works hard for the hope of ones approval.

It is good for a wife to approve and praise her man! It will go along way for him.

Respect: when a wife show no respect toward her husband. Of who he is and what he stands for than the man feels that he cannot trust his wife.

A one flesh connection. Man needs to feel that his wife intimacy is connecting with him. This is where men and women are different. Women love the communication to connect and man. The need for that sexual connection is a must for the man.

A man needs Charity. A man is taught not to cry don't be weak to keep it all together. But in reality we do have times of weakness and do fall apart. We cannot show these to others but a wife must be there for a shoulder to cry on and not be judge or looked down on. But a crutch to help him back up.

A time to refrain man has to get alone to think to gather his thoughts this could be with his friends a hobby or just a time alone do suffercate him with jealousy  behavior

Touch him man wants to be touched kiseed pressed upon,

Security marriage is a commitment and a man must know you are in for the long haul.

Need for a help meet to help man accomplish his task for God.

There came a point in Adams life that God saw his need for a help meet.

So he gave him a women and ADAM CALLED HER eve.

Genesis 2:20 but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

I will make him a help

One of the stereo types for man is that he will not ask for help.

Gods take on relationships

God put us in a family

Teach us on how to

How to conduct ourselves

The first relationship was between man God

Even perfect man Communicated

He did have conflict

There was compromise to continue

Which brought conviction to Adams life

Common courtesy is not common

Definition- excellence of manners or social conduct; polite behavior. 2. a courteous, respectful, or considerate act or expression.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

We will follow those who we believe conduct them selves in a good manner.

People of good character

Who treat the ones they love with great respect

Whose faith we follow because they follow the Lord.

I am not looking for change but for someone has a proven success of the old paths!
